George, his wife Chanelle, and their three children (Peyton, Julianna, and Alex) moved to Aiken, South Carolina in February of 2013. Since coming to Aiken, George and Chanelle welcomed their fourth child, Connor, into the world (and parsonage). In March of 2018 they will celebrate 13 years of Marriage.

Prior to moving to Aiken, George served as Pastor of the St George Church of God located in St George, South Carolina. George was born and raised in Beaufort, South Carolina and graduated from Battery Creek High School. Being a native of Beaufort, SC George and Chanelle are excited about being close enough to home in order to visit family and even more excited about being far enough away from the sand gnats (no-see-ums). Being a husband and father takes up the majority of his time when he is not working to provide for their needs and shepherding God's flock. Along with serving as Pastor, George also works as a sales representative at Goldman's True Value.

George is an Ordained Bishop with the Church of God (Cleveland, TN) and has recently enrolled in Covington Theological Seminary to work on completing a degree to better steward the ministry God as called Him. His desire is to faithfully shepherd God's flock (see 1 Peter 5:1-4), keeping watch over their souls knowing one day He will give an account to God  (see Hebrews 13:17).

Currently the words of scripture, inspired by God, in Matthew 9:35-38 is consuming alot of his thoughts.

35 Jesus was going through all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness.36 Seeing the people, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and dispirited like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then He *said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. 38 Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.”
